Since launching Backdrop in 2007, Maren Matts and her team have been known for expertly consulting with homeowners, real estate professionals, and local builders to stage a lifestyle that attracts today’s buyer.

Owner

Maren has been creating staging magic since 2007, bringing her design aesthetic, market knowledge, and creativity to the greater Seattle area.

Zach Perry

Moving Team

Zach came to backdrop fresh from earning his degree from Wester Washington University. Zach’s pervious moving and truck loading experience gives him the well deserved title of "Expert Truck Packer.”

Nicole Collora

Operations Manager

Nicole has been managing the many steps of the staging process with Backdrop Staging since 2015. She brings her coordination expertise when working with agents and homeowners to ensure each detail is taken care of at every project.

Megan Skidmore

Designer

With her background in staging and many years of design, Megan helps create an aesthetic unique to each project. She can make any house feel like a home!

Duncan Star-Boszko

Moving Team

When Duncan isn’t helping us on a move, he has a busy career in the Seattle theater scene. On the job or at the warehouse, Duncan brings his creativity and provides the soundtrack for every move.

Elise Bakketun

Lead Designer

Elise has been with Backdrop since early 2020 and comes to us with a creative background in interior design, photography and styling. Elise enjoys the unique challenge that each home presents and loves the process of transforming a vacant space into a beautifully staged home. Elise sees each project from start to finish, from design plans to final details.

Galilee Berman

Moving Team

Galilee joined our moving crew in 2021. Along with being an experienced and careful mover, Galilee keeps our warehouse in tip-top shape with his carpentry skills.
