This is a beautiful home with a marble foyer, soaring ceilings (20 ft), and stunning hardwoods.  From a staging aspect, the proportion of the rooms were comfortable for family living and the floor plans created a natural flow of traffic.  However, the challenge in this space was placement of the furniture in the living room, while allowing the off-centered fireplace to be the focal point.  We placed the couch on the farthest wall of the room to help balance the visual weight of the expansive dark granite counters in the kitchen. We used greens and blues in the art and accessories to create visual interaction with the beautiful landscaping that was visible through the wall of windows.
