Like any homeowner making the transition from owning one house to another, I wanted to invest every penny in my new home, not the old one.  Maren was able to show me compelling facts about the value of staging a home and she had received rave reviews from my Real Estate broker, so I decided to make the investment.

Homes in my neighborhood hadn't moved well.  A few sold in 2-3 months, some languished 1-2 years.  I put mine on the market on a Friday morning, and had my first offer that afternoon.  A second competitive offer came in the next day.  Sold! in 2 days.  Unbelievable! There is no doubt in my mind this was due to the staging. Her work was beautiful, so much so that people were taking photos of it.  She worked within my modest budget and created a space I would have loved living in---in fact  I'm now hiring her to advise me on my new home.
